What counts as a lookup?
Each IP you resolve — via the API or the dashboard — counts as one lookup. Bulk requests count one per IP, and network or country reports count as a single lookup.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The Free plan includes 30,000 lookups a month with no card required. Add one only when you choose to upgrade.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Paid plans are billed through Stripe, and you can manage or cancel your subscription from the billing portal in your dashboard at any time.
What happens if I exceed my quota?
The API responds with a 429 and quota headers so you can back off gracefully. Upgrade anytime for a higher monthly limit and rate.
Where does the data come from?
Open datasets — DB-IP City & ASN Lite, Tor exit nodes and FireHOL blocklists — ingested into our own database and refreshed on a schedule, so lookups are fast and don't leak to third parties.
